I grew up Colorado and California. After high school, I traveled for a year and put down roots in Colorado. I went back to school, married, had two children, went back to school and eventually came back to southern California, going to work for Rockwell International as an aircraft mechanic on the B-1Bomber for the USAF and continued my education. When that contract ended I went to work for Northrop-Grumman as a Senior Engineering Planner on the B2 Bomber, also a USAF contract. My family and I moved back to Colorado in 1995 for a few years, where I changed careers and dabbled in the commercial Real Estate market but eventually, we came back to California.

In 1999 I came to visit Pollock Pines at the request of relatives. I loved it here, the trees, the lake, the small town atmosphere. And everyone was friendly! I went home to Colorado after 4 days, told my husband we were moving, put our house up for sale and sold it the same day. We felt our move was really meant to be.

So we landed in Pollock Pines and this is indeed where we will stay. We've been here for over 12 years now. My husband and I keep busy with our jobs of course, but also spending time with our families, keeping up our home, and various hobbies. I am an avid gardener. If I have any spare time, I'm usually in the yard or the greenhouse. I have a passion for Bonsai, creating as well as maintaining the 25 Bonsai I currently have. I am a member of Gold Country Bonsai Club. Most recently, I was accepted into the UC Master Gardeners Program. After completing the program I will have many opportunities to give back to the community through various workshops, doing something I truly enjoy. One of our great benefits of living in Pollock Pines is our gorgeous lake, Jenkinson Reservoir, or Sly Park. I've taken up kayaking in the last couple of years and a few of my clients as well as friends and co-workers kayak too.

I got my Real Estate license in 2004. I started at a time when the market was really strong and am doing my absolute best to see this trend make a positive turn-around. I strive to form lasting relationships with my clients, most of which I talk to or visit on a monthly (or more frequently) basis. Personal contact is everything to me.
